The successful candidate will be required to carry out research for thin-film synthesis of new materials and development of their functions and physical properties.
The successful candidate will engage in educational activities and provide research supervision in the field of solid-state chemistry, physical chemistry, materials chemistry, and/or semiconductor engineering.
The successful candidate will engage in the administration and operation within the Department of Chemical Science and Engineering, School of Materials and Chemical Technology.
The successful candidate will supervise the education and the research of undergraduate and graduate students in collaboration with Prof.
The successful candidate will be responsible for education and research in inorganic chemistry within the Department of Chemical Science and Engineering, and will participate in undergraduate laboratory courses and experimental instruction.
The successful candidate will engage in activities within one of the eight Visionary Initiatives (VIs), which serve as interdisciplinary research hubs.

Annual salary:5 million yen - 8 million yen
Wages description:The successful candidate will be paid under the “Annual Salary System with Lump-Sum Retirement Allowance” pursuant to the Institute’s Rules on Wage and Salary for Staff under Annual Salary System with Lump-Sum Retirement Allowance.
In accordance with the rules, the amount of annual salary will be determined based on the candidate’s age, highest degree obtained, work experience, and other factors for the first fiscal year of employment, and will be based on performance evaluations in subsequent years.
