We collect the information needed to run your account, shortlist and requested email alerts.

What we store

Accounts contain your name, email address, a securely hashed password, verification status, saved positions, saved searches and recent sign-in times. Email subscriptions contain your address, preferences, confirmation and consent dates, and delivery status. Public submissions contain the information you choose to advertise.

Email and your choices

Account-selected daily alerts activate immediately. Standalone email-only signups confirm their address. Each digest contains preference and unsubscribe links. No new matching positions means no digest. Daily position alerts are selected by default during account signup and can be switched off. Course, offer and community emails require a separate optional selection. Both preferences can be changed or unsubscribed at any time. We do not sell the subscriber list. You can browse without an account or subscription.

Private messages

Registered members can send text, emoji and links to the administrators. Conversations are private to that member and the portal administrators. We record sent and seen times. One email notification is sent for an unread set of administrator replies; you can disable reply notifications in your account. Conversations inactive for 90 days are archived. Reset and archived conversations are recoverable by administrators for 30 days and are then removed. Active conversations hold up to 200 messages of 4,000 characters each. No chat attachments are accepted.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies maintain secure sessions and prevent request forgery. A timestamp stored on your device marks positions added since a previous visit; it does not identify you across devices. When enabled, Google Analytics 4 runs only after you choose to allow it. We exclude private pages and do not send names, email addresses or raw search terms. You can change your choice through Cookie preferences in the footer.

Optional popups and promotions

We store popup appearance times and your dismissal preference in this browser to limit interruptions. Active browsing time is kept for the current visit; it pauses in background tabs. These values do not identify you across devices. You can close any popup immediately or turn popups off through Popup preferences in the footer. Banners are hosted by this portal and do not use third-party advertising scripts.

Protection and retention

Account and subscriber data are kept in private storage and included in encrypted backups. The portal retains five recent application backups. Pending unconfirmed subscriptions are removed after 30 days, routine delivery records after 90 days (campaign delivery summaries remain with their campaign), and routine audit events after 180 days. Hosting provider backups follow the provider’s separate retention schedule.

Your information

For access, correction, deletion or privacy questions, contact admin@fosscomputations.co.in. Tell us the email associated with the account. We may verify ownership before making changes. Deleted data can remain in rotating backups until those copies expire.

Public comments

Comments and replies are public and show your display name. Authors can remove their own comments; administrators can moderate them. Hidden or removed comments are pruned after 90 days. Please avoid posting private contact details.
